Wisetack is developing a cutting-edge Finance & Treasury team. We are keenly focused on the design and methodology with which we conduct our business. If you get satisfaction out of making something cost effective, elegant, and efficient then this might be the role for you.
We are seeking a Finance / Treasury Analyst who has strong business acumen with technical aptitude. In this role you will work with large datasets, design and automate processes, perform analyses to drive business decisions, develop controls, and mitigate risk. Our team is critical to conducting Wisetack’s financial operations.
Run finance related daily operations, some examples include:
Loan Origination - determining and validating appropriate disbursement amounts
Secondary Transactions - facilitating purchases from our issuing bank partner(s) and sales to loan investors, along with accompanying cash movements and document submissions
Process automation - develop and maintain tools and dashboards used to streamline processes and analyses
Support the business - design scalable processes for business initiatives and handle ad hoc requests
Drive adoption of new processes and standard methodologies
Identify, document and implement changes to enhance controls and mitigate risk
Identify, review and resolve exceptions as they arise
Analytical and inquisitive mindset
Strong Excel knowledge and aptitude, including macros
Knowledge of SQL
Python and VBA is a nice to have but must have the ability to pick these up quickly
Strong work ethic, enjoy getting involved in the details and adapt well in a fast paced changing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
5+ years professional experience (role will be calibrated to experience)
Relevant experience is a plus, preferably experience in loan servicing and reconciliations at a bank, savings institution, mortgage lender/broker or comparable financial services company
Flexibility - willingness (and capability) to occasionally stretch beyond what is outlined above, plugging into other areas of the business when help is needed
