Proto was founded in 2018 at the National Taiwan University to deliver impactful and effective conversational AI for under-served markets. We’ve grown across four verticals and over ten countries with the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Omidyar Network, RegTech for Regulators Accelerator, the National Research Council of Canada, and the African Development Bank. About the Team

Proto’s team is extremely global with 92% BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Colour) and 50% female members working. We’re a remote team of self-starting and entrepreneurial NLP engineers, SaaS sales professionals, and digital nomads. Our management operates established processes for cross-cultural and timezone collaboration while limiting Zoom to less than an hour a day

Job Summary

Proto's customer experience department team members have a passion for localized dialogue design and daily collaboration with clients. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for all steps in the contact center automation process with deft capability to match client expectations to Proto's novel capabilities for mixed language understanding, language identification, etc. 

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in conversational design and/or automation writing. 

  • A flair for storytelling, user experience, implicit logic. etc. 

  • Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills. 

  • Experience with account management and deliverology. 

  • High-speed internet connection

  • Experience working on marketing for global companies

  • Fluency in multiple languages

  • Compensation based on geo-location with performance-based raises. Initial compensation of CAD 50,000 to 70,000.
