Role: Human Resources Manager

At Kiwibot we are building the largest robotic last-mile delivery network to support operations in several environments from college campuses to cities across the US and Europe. We believe that the future will be powered by clean and effective technological solutions and that everyone should have the access to receive anything at a low or no cost. 

He/She/They will work closely with the Head of Finance to support and develop Kiwibot’s talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.

The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.

As a Human Resources Manager: You will lead the retention and development efforts of Kiwibot. Being in constant contact with the leadership team, ensuring the support and creation of materials and programs for every area. You will also support the creation and development of the Human Resources overall strategy from Employer branding to retention. You must be a highly motivated person and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Medellin, Colombia - Remote Friendly

As a Human Resources Manager a typical day might include the following: 

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures

  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing and updating job descriptions.

  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans

  • Develop training and development programs

  • Assist in performance management processes

  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues

  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements

  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

This job might be the right one for you if:

  • Proven experience as HR officer, administrator, or other HR position

  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)

  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude

  • Strong ethics and reliability

  • BSc/BA in business administration, social studies, or relevant field; further training will be a plus

You might have also had:

  • Spanish language skills (we are a Latin America start-up!)

  • Knowledge of electronics, electric engineering, or other similar technical fields

  • Experience starting or scaling a successful startup

  • Demonstrated interest in logistics, on-demand services, and marketplaces

  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
