Role: Administrative & Accounting Assistant


At Kiwibot we are building the largest robotic last-mile delivery network to support operations in several environments from college campuses to cities across the US and Europe. The ideal candidate for this position is an organized, structured, and disciplined critical thinker seeking a fast-paced environment, comfortable working on complex and diversified problems that are critical to the long-term success of Kiwibot.

He/She/They will work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure the correct management of the resources of the company. You will work in a fast and dynamic environment ensuring the budget execution and accuracy of our transactions, controlling the administration processes, and integrating your work with all the areas of Kiwibot.

Location: Medellin, Remote Friendly


As an Administrative & Accounting Assistant a typical day might include the following: 

  • Receive and prioritize requests from the different areas.

  • Reception & legal verification of invoices and collection accounts.

  • Classification of the expenses according to the pre-established categories.

  • Identify improvement areas for the process of accounting

  • Causation and accounting of the company expenses

  • Ensure the execution of the budget.

  • Bank Reconciliations

  • Review and archive the payroll documentation

  • Present reports and proposals to the Head of Finance.

  • Prepare and be part of the auditing processes of the company

This job might be the right one for you if:

  • Previous experience as Administrative/Accounting assistant

  • Written and Spoken Proficiency in English

  • Recent knowledge of accounting and taxation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent, team-based attitude

  • Relentless work ethic and high energy level

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail

  • Be calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously


You might have also had:

  • Spanish language skills (we are a Latin America start-up!)

  • Experience starting or scaling a successful startup

  • Demonstrated interest in logistics, on-demand services, and marketplaces
