Helium Customer Service Rep – Chinese Language Technical Support

What you will do

  • Help translate and/or review documentation from English into Simplified Chinese
  • Utilize email and live chat to answer any questions that come in
  • Assist users with on-boarding Helium compatible Hotspots and answer any maintenance-related questions
  • Collect feedback for feature requests and report bugs found in hardware, blockchain, and API
  • Provide daily interaction with the blockchain community on Telegram, WeChat, and the community Discord channels, as well as social-networking sites

Who you are

  • Practical customer service experience, and ability to work during normal Chinese daytime hours
  • Previous experience in customer support/success with proven written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to the ever-changing start-up environment
  • Communicate both internally and externally in a positive, collaborative, team-oriented spirit
  • Passion to learn new and complicated technologies
  • Computer knowledge (Mac and PC platforms, MS Office suite, CLI, disk formatting, video chat, etc)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, written Chinese (Simplified preferred), and Mandarin. Cantonese a plus

Nice to have

  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Intercom
  • Knowledge or interest in blockchain/cryptocurrency
  • Knowledge of basic Linux

Remote Restrictions

  • Workday must overlap by at least 6 hours with Beijing, China
