About: Global Press is hiring a Partnerships Manager to catapult brand awareness and audience growth through republication, publishing partnerships and more. The Partnerships Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with the Editor-in-Chief of Global Press Journal. Develop a robust media partnership strategy to ensure Global Press Journal meets all audience goals outlined in the organization's strategic plan
Build and grow the republication network to increase the reach of Global Press Journal stories in the United States and coverage countries
Secure story placement with legacy and new media outlets '
Create and implement a partner engagement strategy to ensure current partners are publishing stories regularly
Leverage the organization’s in-depth U.S. audience research and focus group data to customize outreach to major media partners in the US
Secure research, education and NGO content partnerships
Source partnership opportunities across all three Global Press divisions: Global Press Institute, Global Press Journal, Global Press News Services'
Collaborate with the Web Editor to build partnerships with social media companies to increase social reachSecure partnerships with widely distributed newsletters
Develop radio partnerships for Global Press Journal stories and assets
Manage the distribution and optimization of Global Press Journal content on third-party platforms such as Apple News and build new third-party platform partnerships.
Work with partners to secure analytics and audience engagement data
Analyze audience data and indirect reach data to identify correlations between media partnerships and audience growth
Ensure all partnership MOUs, contracts, and other documentation is regularly updated and filed
Oversee the production of supplementary content as needed for partnership deliverables
Oversee a media monitoring system for GPJ story placement opportunities in major publications across the US and UK, based on timely and relevant content
Oversee adoption and quality control of our republishing guidelines by media partners
Manage all partnership data in the salesforce CRM

Here are a few other things we’re looking for:
A well-established media industry network and ease in building relationships with business, editorial, and communications professionals
Experience managing media partnerships with exceptional written communication and powerful and proactive verbal communication
Experience analyzing audience data across platforms
Familiarity with publishing and distribution platforms and SEO
Exceptional judgement, tact, and powerful communication skills
Experience using Salesforce to enable partnership retention and management
A keen eye for detail, copywriting, presentation skills
The ability to respond immediately and effectively to challenges with enthusiasm and good humor
Note: Candidates with journalism experience strongly preferred.
