I'm looking for a Front End Developer to join our growing Product Development team as a contractor with the option to join. The candidate is a front-end magician who is hungry to make beautiful experiences through iteration and attention to detail. They are also someone who loves to work with designers and full stack engineers, together making great products that scale, adapt and personalize.
The role will start with a contract position on a strategic project of ours, giving both an opportunity to see if this is a mutual match. Assuming we both are game, we would offer a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits that calibrates to your level.

As a Front End Developer at Excelerate America, you will…
Work with the EA Product team to develop front-end apps, landing pages and key conversion flows for our customers
Collaborate with the EA team to brainstorm new features, design the key elements and bring to life through prototyping and user testing
Have a blast working with a diverse team with various perspectives and skill sets and put users first in all our decisions
Bring UX designs to life by:
Converting Figma screens to ReactJS pages and components
Designing and maintaining an EA-styled UI Library
Creating prototypes, apps, tools, widgets for our platform
Building Static sites, pages, and templates using GatsbyJS or similar
Work with Design and QA to make sure every page and component looks and works as designed regardless of screen size or browser type
Hook up outside services needed for front-end experiences such as headless CMS and create templates for use by our content and marketing teams

Designed and built Front-end experiences and launched them into the world
3+ years of cumulative experience developing outside of school
HTML & CSS Ninja skills translating design files in pixel perfect experiences
Worked with multi-disciplinary teams including UX/UI designers and understands the process of design iteration paired with development
A creative mindset in solving technical and non-technical problems
A mix of experience with some of the following:
Web animation, bringing elements to life
Use of Figma to build out design components and layers based on a visual designers requirements
Static site generators like GatsbyJS
CMS platforms and building templates (particularly Headless)
Experience creating responsive web experiences with a mobile-first approach
An eye for good design and attention to detail
