Manager of Enterprise Partnerships (Business Development & Key Accounts)

  • Sales & Marketing
  • Full-time
  • Los Angeles, CA

As Manager of Enterprise Partnerships you will lead the acquisition and development of partnerships across all verticals.

As Manager of Enterprise Partnerships, you are responsible for acquisition and development of the strategic relationships that power Coco’s exponential growth. You’ll open major new sources of business and identify opportunities to expand existing channels through partnerships.

To excel in this role, you must deeply understand the business dynamics at the foundation of our business, and possess the strategic vision, creativity, and initiative to identify opportunities and turn them into reality. You must be extremely effective at building relationships: happy to engage in business-level and P&L focused conversations with C-level executives at publicly traded companies. You enjoy working with financial models and mapping out P&L implications of deal structures, and are comfortable using data and insights to change viewpoints on the client-side. You can effectively lead a complex, multi-party sales process.

Lastly, you have competitive and creative fire: you’re always looking for new ways to improve our business development and sales processes.

The role

  • Identify opportunities to grow our business through partnerships, integrations, and key account sales

  • Lead exploratory discussions with prospective partners to determine market fit, size, and operational implications of partnership

  • Develop the strategy and execution for partnering with and/or selling into partners

  • Manage the deal process with internal stakeholders to get buy-in on your proposed partnerships, using both soft skills and quantitative modeling. You’ll balance the needs of partners with those of Coco’s many internal teams.

  • Nurture and grow existing partnerships

Qualifications

  • Many years of business development experience, preferably a mix of startup and larger enterprise experience

  • Experience with C-level partnership negotiations

  • Ability to lead analysis-driven negotiation processes

  • Familiarity with the food delivery, 3rd party marketplace, or logistics industries

  • Well-developed foundation in analytics: comfort with basic modeling
