We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Director to help us grow our business. In this role, you will be representing the CALA and will be expected to develop and execute a creative and effective sales strategy. The ultimate goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads and relationships via outbound cold calling, direct messaging, emails, pre-existing contacts & research as well as qualifying inbound leads
  • Become a CALA platform expert and clearly convey its value proposition & capabilities to external parties
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Manage your pipeline using our CRM tools and tech stack
  • Hit and exceed monthly goals, consistently staying on top and ahead of KPIs
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Create presentations and pitch documents

Requirements

  • Previous work experience as a Business Development Manager, Sr. Account Executive or similar role
  • Experience selling technology or services to fashion brands and apparel companies
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Familiarity with Notion, Google Sheets, Pitch, Figma, and Slack
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize what's best for the companies long-term success
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create & deliver beautiful, engaging presentations
  • Pre-existing relationships in the fashion & apparel space

  • Workday must overlap by at least 5 hours with New York, NY, USA
