Batch is building blazing fast, one-tap checkout for shopping IRL. We believe that the convenience of shopping online should exist in the physical world. 

If you want to reorder your favorite skincare product, buy a candle that you saw at a friend's house, or shop an artist’s latest merchandise from your seat at a live event — we believe you should be able to do that instantly using your mobile device.

Today, our product lets customers reorder their favorite brands straight from the packaging. We’re also powering high-impact, immersive marketing experiences off of QR codes, and growing our business in the live event world with one-of-a-kind merchandising experiences for artists, venues, and festivals.

About the role

Batch is building out our BD & Sales teams. This person will report directly to the Head of Sales, and will be an instrumental part of shaping our sales motion.

As an Account Executive, you'll be part of a small team working closely with product and launch operations. This role will have a massive impact on the company -- selling, closing, and negotiating relationships with e-commerce brands. You’ll develop and own our target list, strategize how to reach our next 100 customers, and turn Batch into a desirable brand name. Batch is well positioned with some of the most connected investors, advisors, and partners in the industry: we have the opportunity to develop a network-driven growth strategy from day 1.

In your first 180 days you will…

  • Collaborate with the team to set sales goals

  • Expand our target list and mine our existing network for introductions and warm intros

  • Work closely with our CEO to close deals

  • Develop internal sales pipelines and processes 

  • Provide daily/weekly feedback to the product team and help build our ideal customer profile

  • Work with the design team to create sales enablement

Requirements

  • You’re a strategic thinker who can think 6-12 months ahead

  • You’re a great closer with experience selling and hitting sales targets. SaaS, tech, and/or startup experience is a plus!

  • You’re flexible and creative: you can think on your feet and know how to adjust your pitch depending on who you’re selling to

  • You’re organized in the way you manage, follow-up on, and report to the company on your sales pipeline

  • You’re restless: you love to learn and make progress every single day

  • You’re metrics-driven and scrappy, prioritizing opportunities based on business needs

  • You’re open minded and comfortable receiving feedback -- working collaboratively towards the perfect sales pitch

  • You have 2+ years of experience in sales or business development

  • Experience in a space relevant to Batch and/or existing relationships in e-commerce, DTC, retail, or SaaS a plus!
