Overview: Social Media Intern (PT + Summer FT)
As our Social Media Intern in Milwaukee or the broader US, you will work closely with the Director of Sales. You will support the growth of our business by building our brands’ audiences and influence through storytelling and education. You must be a phenomenal communicator with sufficient design skills to create the content you want and effortlessly shift between brands’ styles. You will learn how to work in a global, often-virtual team with multiple levels of communication, impact and marketing. You will regularly multitask multiple responsibilities and be diligent and resourceful in problem-solving.
Establish and maintain a social media marketing plan and editorial calendar on social platforms.
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging, informative and appealing content daily.
Support B2B and wholesale marketing with retail partnerships and targeted engagement.
Build and measure email marketing drip campaigns and newsletters to drive traffic to retail locations.
Use social media as a tool for customer service and handle all inquiries regarding our business.
Analyze social media performance via dashboards and KPIs and translate data into action.
Manage brand ambassador and influencer programs to support retail sales and collaborations.
Track and report on Agricycle’s brands’ competitors’ retail marketing activities and promotions.
Promote Agricycle’s impact and maintain brand standards for Agricycle, Field Better, Tropicoal & Jali.
Monitor and listen to audience engagement to understand emerging trends/issues.
Accomplish all other reasonable responsibilities provided by supervising team members.

Minimum of at least 6 months of employment history (not necessarily continuous).
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design or similar degree with a minimum of 2 academic years of education.
Technical expertise in social media management platforms, design software like Canva and others.
Excellent relationship building and English communication skills (written, oral and digital).
Demonstrated compassion and empathy, strong work ethic and unimpeachable integrity.
Readiness and ability to regularly perform under pressure and within short timeframes.
Desire to be proactive and support other team members by reducing their workload.
Excellent working knowledge of computer applications and cloud-based software.
Compensation: Targeted $12-14/hr and 10+ hours per week during school year, 40 hours per week in summer.
Time Off: 9 prorated Paid Holidays + flexible scheduling to match lifestyles (parenting, student, other employment).
Work Environment: Semi-remote working in Milwaukee downtown office with global travel and startup culture.
